1978 - Alaska America's Child

                                                         Part 1

In this video we see John exploring and learning about the Alaskan wilderness and culture with local guides. Experiencing the land, the bears, the fishing, and other less attractive things like the oil drilling and whaling ramifications expanded John's commitment to the environment, to become a proponent in finding a balance so that nature and communities do not suffer. This film also was shown to lawmakers to persuade them of the importance of signing the Alaska Lands Act of 1980.

1971- World Citizenship documentary

John's contribution to this archival documentary that explains how residents of Minnesota, USA, in 1971, declared that they were making a commitment to be leaders in the World Citizenship movement, is an interview segment, two songs and a poem: The Box, The Strangest Dream, and Rhymes & Reasons.
